Please forgive me for posting a second review of Blue Stone Lane but I couldn’t help myself. The Australian inspired cafe opened up a new location on the Upper East Side really close to my home so I didn’t really have a choice. The café looks like it stepped straight out of an interior design magazine, filled with plants, lamps, mirrors and wooden details.
The staff seems genuinely excited to be working for the Australian chain and I heard them gush about working in such a beautiful location. The cafe is literally across from Central Park and adjacent to a church. The restrooms are located in the church, which makes the experience (even for a Jewish girl) that much more exciting.
I love my Melbourne style brunch and coffee because it reminds me of the time I lived in Melbourne. The people working at Blue Stone Lane are a perfect representation of the Aussie hospitality. I honestly believe that Australians are the nicest people around and even when I’m in the middle of the café taking pictures they remain lovely and accommodating.
I promise I’m not affiliated with Blue stone Lane or paid to gush. It’s really that good and I believe Blue Stone Lane will have a bright future in and all over the USA.
