I’ve seen a million pictures of bloggers posing on the Brooklyn Bridge. So, when photographer Amar inderdjiet was in town, I jumped at the opportunity to shoot with him there. We met up in the middle of the day, and as expected the bridge was overly crowded. Amar and I apparently know no shame and we positioned ourselves right in the middle of the walkway and started shooting – imagine a photographer laying down on the ground, and a blond girl posing a few feet in front of him.
The most amusing part was that the moment we moved, another couple, having spotted us, took our place an copied us completely – should I adjust my resume to “trendsetter?”
Anyways, this comes to show that pictures don’t always portray reality. In the shots, the bridge looks almost deserted, which could not be farther from the truth. My advice if you want to shoot in a public place: Be patient and shameless!
