Day-to-night outfits are a necessity when you live in a big city or when you’re a girl-on-the-go. When I look around on the subway I’m often confronted with girls in tiny skirts, and sky-high stiletto’s.  These ladies are obviously dressed for a night on the town. The only problem is, it’s 5PM on a tuesday and they look more trashy than classy. My solution to looking work-appropriate during the day, but flirty and fabulous at night, are accessories and playful details.

Destroyed jeans are all the rage, and though I look put together for work, the cutouts easily transform from classy to sassy when you pair them with a good pair of pumps. When it comes to pumps and lashes I always say, go big or go home. If you can’t handle a whole day in heels bring them with you and wear flats during the day.

Tip: Always keep a pair of heels in your bag.

Let’s move on to my fave accessory of the moment:  The fringe bag. I have to admit that I might be a bit obsessed with this trend. To find a quality fringe bag that looks and feels luxurious, but doesn’t have the steep price tag was quite a struggle. That’s why I was very happy when I found this faux-leather fringe purse on Forelyse.com but didn’t want to get too excited until I received it in the mail. The bag arrived last week and it was even better than I had anticipated. It has two compartments and both close with a silver zipper. I brought it to a concert over the weekend and it fit my make-up, iPhone, gloves, wallet, and I still had plenty of space left. The purse is not only handy, the triangular flair immediately perked up my otherwise casual outfit.
